Hartline Trading L.L.C is a limited liability company licensed by the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai (commercial licence 1488158). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
When you submit an enquiry or quotation request we collect the details you provide: your name, company name, business email, phone number, destination country, product requirements and any file you attach.
Our web server records technical information such as IP address and browser type for security and to prevent abuse of our forms.
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, manage orders and keep records of our business dealings with you.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
We process enquiry data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform contracts, to meet legal obligations such as record keeping, and for our legitimate interest in running and securing our business. Where the law requires consent, we ask for it.
We share data only where needed to handle your enquiry or order, for example with logistics providers, banks, professional advisers, IT and email service providers, or authorities where the law requires it. These parties may be located outside the United Arab Emirates, and we take reasonable steps to protect data transferred to them.
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Records relating to orders are kept for as long as commercial and tax laws require.
Subject to applicable law, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to or restrict its use. To make a request, contact us using the details on our contact page.
We use access controls, encrypted connections and restricted storage for enquiry data and attachments. No system is completely secure, so please do not send information that is more sensitive than your enquiry needs.
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
